The next couple of weeks will be very little to do with research as all the marking comes in from undergraduate assignments, OSCEs and exam scripts.
Fortunately, Daryl is still busy – not only has he completed his data collection (hooray! and well done) but is also presenting at the Anglia Ruskin Student Research Conference at the weekend, for which his poster has been highly commended.
ARVO is over for another year – it was great to see so many people there, both familiar faces and new contacts. Daryl’s poster had lots of interest in a busy Quality of Life session – the need for good Patient Reported Outcome Measures is certainly a topic of interest to many. You can read the poster here.
I was delighted to finally meet my colleague Michael Bach at my poster, as all our correspondance to date had been by email! Read the poster here.
And thank you to everyone who helped out in the hunt for State quarters (by a variety of means!). My kids were very excited that I managed to bring back another 13 for them.
